Vintage 60s Cotton Paisley Shirt Dress Day Dress NWOT, Large 12 14

This day dress is by Carolina Maid, a brand that was well-made and perfect for everyday wear. The paisley print has shades of rust, light blue, and gold on a dark blue background. Dress features notched collar, buttoned front placket that goes about halfway down, long sleeves, and on-seam hidden pocket (this has a small opening, so you can put items like keys or change in it, and they won't fall out). Sleeves can be cuffed up to show the solid, dark-blue reverse side of the fabric (see photo #3). No waist seam; the shape is shift style, with just a bit of a nipped-in waist, but there's a self-fabric belt for more shape and a closer fit. No fabric-content label, but it looks, feels, and behaves like crisp all-cotton. SIZE: Labeled 14 1/2; estimated a best fit for a modern size 12, possibly a 14, but check the hip measurement. Use the garment dimensions and yours to determine fit. We suggest you compare to a dress you have of similar style or fit. There's no stretch to this fabric, so leave enough room for your body.
