This 1960s' cocktail dress by Adrian Tabin is the perfect "LBD," with a timeless style as much at home today as when it was made, from the thin spaghetti straps to the flirty short length. Features a body-skimming silhouette with front shaping darts and nipped-in waistline, four self-covered buttons, and a partial empire-waist gathered seam. Has cute bows, metal zipper, and full-length seams at back. The fabric is a rayon crepe with a taffeta lining (which I believe to be rayon as well, not acetate).
CONDITION: Excellent. Dress has been shortened, but original hem allowance is intact, so this could be dropped down about three inches. The pink facing has some discoloration, but this isn't unusual for these linings. I see no other issues; dress is clean and ready to wear.
SIZE: About a modern 6, possibly down to a 4. Fit my 34 1/2" x 26" x 34" dress form beautifully. But go by its dimensions and yours. We suggest you compare to a dress you have of similar style or fit. The fabric does not stretch, so leave room for your body. There's enough side seam allowance to let this out about 1 to 1.5".
