Vintage '60s Multi-color 100% Silk Shift, Colony Classics, Hong Kong, sz 12/14

This 1960's, 100% silk shift is in perfect condition and may have never been worn. The floral silk is multi-colored with vibrant pinks, oranges, and green. The hand-sewn detailing is unlike modern clothing, except in high-end designer apparel. Fully lined with cream-colored silk, and the facings at neck and arms are handstitched in place. There is an invisible pleat below the waist in both the outer garment and the lining, which gives the shift ease and flow. Zipper at back with hook & eye closure and cute self-bow detail. 72" self-belt if you want to cinch at waist. Colony Classics Hong Kong label shows Size 16, but the shift seems more like a size 12 or 14. Measurement from underarm seam to underarm seam: 20" Measurement from shoulder to hem: 42" This would be the perfect dress for a spring or summer wedding or garden party.
