Vintage 1970s James Reva peach jersey dress. Beautiful fitted v-neckline that flares into a full skirt. Very Halston in style. No size tag but fits like a small, see measurements. Fabric has stretch. Minor fabric darkening around shoulders, one tiny area with snag and one tiny stain in skirt area. Overall, presents well and looks great. James Reva was a California fashion designer who owned boutiques starting in the early 1970s and later sold his label through specialty stores in Beverly Hills and New York City. He launched his business in 1972 and captured national attention with his version of the “rich hippie” look, a mix of dressy fabrics with denims. His clientele included many actresses including Jane Fonda who wore his dress when she won an Oscar in 1969.
