Vintage 70s or 80s Lilac Purple Formal Gown

This vintage dress is just so stunning. The sleeves can be worn on or off the shoulder. There is 3 layers of sheer fabric with delicate ribbon detail around the neckline creating such a fun and exciting neckline. There is also a sheer overlay over the skirt portion and it would look so amazing with a hoop skirt under to create the most voluminous ballgown. Based on the Union tag and some research, I believe this dress is from the late 70s or early 80s. The manufacturer tag and size tag has been removed. There is a zipper back. I believe this dress would work best for an XS or small. The waist measures at approximately 12.5” flat but it would sit at the smallest part of your waist. The bust measures at 16” P2P laying flat and the total length is about 54.” There is some discoloration around the armpit but the sheer ruffle neckline covers it up. I also haven’t attempted to remove the stains. Such a great dress to wear for a themed event or outing. It’s in really good vintage condition with no rips or stains other than what was noted earlier.
