Vintage 80s 1980s Polo Ralph Lauren Puff Sleeve Blue Velvet Wrap Dress, Small

True wrap dress by Polo Ralph Lauren, ca. mid-1980s, is made of soft cotton velvet in a dark blue, trimmed with cream cotton lace. There are on-seam hidden pockets on each side, three buttons on the lace cuffs, a wide waist sash, and an adjustable inner tie to keep the dress closed. Shoulders are gathered for a puffed profile. NOTE: Some photos have been lightened to show detail. CONDITION: Very good. There were some white spots dotting the skirt; my dry cleaner was able to diminish the look of these, but some remain, although quite faint. The most visible is shown circled in the third photo. Due to the gathering at the waist, this may not show up when dress is on. (I made sure it showed so I could photograph it.) Dress is priced to account for this issue. SIZE: Labeled size 6; runs fairly true to size. Due the wrap style, it has some adjustability. Please use the dimensions below to determine fit, and remember to leave room for your body. Measurements taken with waist ties fastened at about their mid-point. Dress can be tied for a smaller or larger fit.
