Vintage 80s 2 piece 100% Silk Dramatic deep purple maxi skirt w/ fitted top

This gorgeous deep dark purple gown is from Waters and Waters. It is 100% Silk on the outer layer. It is fully lined with 50% cotton and 50% Polyester. It features 2 separate pieces. The top fits on by fastening the 12 little buttons down the front. It is meant to sit just off the shoulders. Sleeves are 3/4 length. There are large bows that sit on the sides on top of the shoulders. Tag claims it was a size 8 but I would say it would fit smaller. It has been dry cleaned (still has the cleaning tag pinned on). The openings of the arms seem small to me. There is quite a bit of fabric there bunched up so I am guessing a professional could widen them a bit if needed. The very bottom opening only measures 5" across and does not stretch. I do not see any issues anywhere. It is stunning and definitely different!
