Vintage 1980s couture Arnold Scaasi Boutique black silk floral knee-length dress, size 12. Iconic Scassi was a designer to First Ladies, celebrities, and socialites. His dresses are known for their detailed draping and construction and bold designs and this piece is no exception. Colorful floral print silk on black with an off-shoulder collar stiffened with sewn-in (hidden) crinoline and supported with hidden shoulder straps and clever eye & hooks to keep it floating off the shoulder, ruched sleeves, flexible boning for waist shape and support, and a tulip hem. 3/4 sleeves. Belt loops but piece is MISSING BELT -- easily worn without. Lined. Union made size 12 with the original couture order tag with style number. NOTE MEASUREMENTS: 15" interior shoulder strap to strap, 14" waist laid flat, 36" top of shoulder to bottom hem. In Excellent condition with no noted flaws.
