Vintage 80's Casadei Wrap Dress

A beautiful wrap style dress, has a very soft flattering color; similar to sea glass or sea foam. Designed to show off an hourglass figure, the shoulders have a stiff lining that keep them nicely in place but not the massive padding that some 80's clothes had. At the waist are a row of buttons on each side, one side sets inside the dress and the other is outside drawing attention to your tiny waist. Dress is a size 6/8, though we cannot locate the tag. The elegant beading and sequins are all perfectly in place. The seams are in faultless condition and it has a diagonal or asymmetric hemline, not sure of the correct term. As shown in the photos the only issue with this dress is a single missing button. Suggested solution: get a pair of buttons you find attractive; use the cuff buttons to replace the damaged button at the waist (bonus is the spare). Dress designer, Casadei, said she based her designs on the golden age of Hollywood. The tag is 1982 Copyright Eletra Dress; Ms. Casadei's collections were carried in some 7,000 evening dress boutiques and high end department stores.
