VINTAGE size is 12, which likely is size 8. That is because US clothing companies lowered all the sizes twice since this dress was sold. It was responding to women’s desire to “wear a small size.” It resulted in clothing going from beginning with a 2, to beginning with a 0, then a decade later, lowering again to size 00.
