Vintage 80’s Samantha Black Mint Green Floral Burnout dress; sz 6 Prom Party NYE

I almost passed up this beauty, because on the hanger, she looked pretty unremarkable. But I’ve learned that sometimes a dress can look like a potato sack on the hanger; and transform into a true stunner on an actual body (or mannequin). This is one of those dresses. The mint green color is quintessential 80’s, as is the ruched waist, the flounced skirt, and the padded shoulders. The dress is made of a solid mint green foundation, overlaid by a sheer floral burnout layer. The sleeves and the bottom most layer of the skirt are sheer. It’s a pretty, feminine dress that while soft, still brings the drama. She is in perfect condition; no flaws that I could find. Gorgeous addition to any vintage lover’s closet!
