Vintage '80's Tan F Jay Tuxedo Pleated Button Down Blouse w/Shoulder Pads Sz 8

This 100% polyester blouse is a strong purple color and the material is thin slick to the touch. I assume because of the shoulder pads it is '80's fashion, although I did encounter other listings of the brand as 1970's. Pleated front gives this a tuxedo top charm, and at the neckline there is a very small decorative black piece that is maybe a tiny tie??? I can only find where it is attached on one end, so it might have a completely different purpose! Sleeves have 2 buttons so are adjustable. Blouse looks unworn but one shoulder pad flares out more than the other from hanging differently on a hanger for decades. Measures 25" L, 18" shoulder to shoulder, 20" armpit to armpit, 23.5". U3LA
