Vintage 80s/90s Cherokee flower cutoff jean shorts, high waist width 15"

This pair of Cherokee brand high waisted cutoff jean shorts has a small flower pattern with a dark blue wash. These are from the 80s/90s and are excellent condition other than slight fading of the fabric (see photos). the size says 10P but since they're vintage this doesn't match current sizing numbers. But the width of the waist is 15". I wear a size 27 and these are too small in the waist for me.
