Vintage 90s Actionwear Down Filled Parka With Fur Ruff - Men's MD Made In Canada

Vintage 90s Actionwear Down Filled Parka. Men's Medium. Made in Saskatoon Canada for Arctic Exploration Outfitters in Anchorage Alaska. Made for actual arctic conditions with a generous fill of duck down. Oversized cut for layering. Actionwear typically only makes work clothing for extreme conditions such as Alaska's North Slope, so a commercial piece from them is quite rare. Used condition with minor wear and some light stains. Largest stain is near the chest zip pocket, see photos for detail. Parka can be laundered per the labeling, but will require a large, front-load washer. Dry cleaning would be the preferred method of cleaning. Fur ruff contents are not labeled but it is likely coyote fur. Ruff has an internal wire to hold shape and is also removable for separate cleaning (or if you don't like fur). Parka has a very faint odor from storage that could best be described as "Grandma's House", but not strong or offensive. Features two flap pockets on the lower front and one zip pocket on the left chest. Has internal draw cords to tighten at the waist, and a velcro strap on the rear of the hood to adjust where it sits on the head. Internal and external hang loops and a two-way main zipper.
