This Fabulous set of Giorgio Beverly Hills from the early 80’s has the Giorgio logo and symbol stamped on the medal as well as on the Earrings. The chain is a 24” long Fancy Rolo Style- .925 Sterling Silver from Costa Rica. The medal is a circular 1 1/4“ wide also made of silver from Costa Rica. The earrings are 1” in circumference and are clip on. The set is signed and it has an ID number stamped on it. It is pre-owned never used. The set is a total of 68 grams of Sterling Silver.

izajewelry @missymissy Hi! I had to come back to you to let you know that I went back to double check on the .925 stamp. Although it had been confirmed by a jeweler that it is .925 silver, it has all other stamps on it but I didn’t see the .925 on them. There are other numbers on these. Sorry about the confusion. I saw the message after waking up. So, I should have checked before answering but they are indeed good quality silver.

missymissy So the jeweler did a acid or whatever test to determine they are 925 silver? So u gurantee it? I wonder why they didn’t stamp them? I just bought a related item and it wasn’t marked so I thought these wouldn’t be either. They weren’t sold as 925 though and were a lot less expensive so I hesitate to make a purchase.

izajewelry @missymissy Correct, he tested them with the acid. I guess that back in the old day not all countries did the stamping. I have gold pieces my mother in law had from Italy and these are so old they don’t have the 18k on them. The newer pieces do. What I noticed in this set is that it has a number that I believe might be proof of authenticity. But yes, these are definitely silver.

izajewelry @missymissy You can always have them tested. When they test silver they use the 18k acid used to test the 18k gold. When they put the acid on the stone where they scratch it; it becomes like a milky color. I am letting you know this so that in the future you know what to expect. Take care.

izajewelry @missymissy Good morning! I did not buy this set from a whole seller in Costa Rica. I inherited jewelry from my sister in law. She used to collect Jewelry and she purchased them from the HSN and QVC and places she traveled to. Also the value of these pieces come from the fact that they are collector items. I have been researching on line and I have not found a set like the one I own. So, I can have them re-tested but I won’t be able to do it until Wednesday. Take care.

missymissy I just bought the bracelet and earrings set in gold a few minutes ago on Poshmark for $20 they said it was given free with a fragrance purchase. It was gold. Still lookjng for silver earrings. Best.

missymissy Yes the silver set and the gold set I got were priced fairly. a good deal. These were given out as free I was told with a purchase. So I doubt it’s solid 925 or gold. Most likely silver plated. I sold silver in the day and it wouldn’t be given away if it were solid silver.
