Vintage 925 Sterling Silver Blue Kyanite Cabochon Ring Sz 6 Large 17mm Stone

Vintage 925 Sterling Silver Blue Kyanite Cabochon Ring Sz 6 Large 17mm Stone Striking blue kyanite cabochon cocktail ring set in 925 sterling silver. The cabochon measures 17.2mm by 12.7mm & is approximately 3mm thick. The bezel around the cab is stair stepped with perfection, with the bottom step being a lace edge style. The band is universal in size all the way around at 4mm approximately. The only stamp I can find is 925. The ring weighs 7.3 grams. The band has been pressed into more of an oval shape to fit a smaller finger but isn't ruined in any way. It can be easily reshaped. The rock actually tests to the Topaz bar on the Presidium Gem Tester. It goes straight to Topaz and stays there. Kyanite has a range of mohs & my research said Kyanite can vary in its hardness, but Topaz is extra hard, so I'm a tiny bit stumped & tested multiple times with exact same results. Ring tests to sterling silver with acid test. The top of the cabochon is a little rough but beautiful. Oxidizing is present in a universal way throughout the ring.
