It is said that only 3% of the turquoise mined at Carico Lake comes out "apple green". I believe this bracelet falls into that category, because it is somewhere between the electric green, mined there, and the blue green which is much more common, yet still beautiful. The bracelet is stamped 'MEXICO', 'M-25', and '925', 3 separate times, on the backside of the oval cabochons, and it has been tested, and is, indeed, 925 sterling silver. It's a stunning and unique piece, handmade with excellent craftsmanship, and it is in perfect condition aside from slight fading of the turquoise, which is inevitable, as turquoise naturally fades over time. and this bracelet has lived through many decades.(around 6 decades if i had to guess). I don't like to use the word rare, but in all my searching i have seen very few bracelets, that are authentic vintage taxco turquoise in this style, and never one in this color lime green turquoise. which leads me to believe that there are not many out there... It will, undoubtedly, be a great addition to any southwest collection, plus, a guaranteed conversation starter if you decide to wear it out on the town! 💚
