Vintage 70s ADAMS ROW Ivy Cap Flat Cap Gray Tweed 100% Wool Union Tag Size 7 3/8 XL Medium-> dark gray coloring. Accent threads of orange and blue. Olive green satin lining Tag Mark of "The World's Best" 100% Pure Wool Union tag of Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union. The style of the cap and labeling is more from the 1950s, but the ACTWU wasn't officially merged until 1976, so I'm not sure exactly which decade to put it in. Except to say that it's at least 50 years old, and maybe much older depending on how early ACTWU branding was used prior to their merger. Measurements: Height: 3.5" Circumference: 23.5" / 60 cm Brim: 1.75" Steam cleaned and pressed. Adams Row flat caps were particularly popular among working-class men, as they were durable and affordable. They were also worn by celebrities like Charlie Chaplin and Buster Keaton.
