digitizemedia Sorry to "Burst Your Bubble" on this one, but the hallmark that you say is "HirFlex" is ACTUALLY "AirFlex"!!! When the stainless steel is stamped, it is stamped on the curved edge of the metal where the top curve of the "A" is not visible. This could be due to the curvature at the edge of the link, a damaged stamping die for the hallmark or incorrectly set pressure during the stamping process.

digitizemedia @oddboz Hey! No Problem!!! I don't remember how I happened upon this oddity, but these are the kind of little quirks that you never forget!!! It's nice to see you can understand this!!! I had a bit of a runaround with an Etsy seller regarding this exact issue...people need to realize that when an item is mass produced there's always going to be a certain amount of "defect" that can be overlooked.

digitizemedia In this situation, it's a slightly mis-stamped hallmark that's off center and on a piece of stainless steel no less that if the stamping tool is getting dull/worn...you get it. There WILL be a slight defect!!! Just gotta know what to look for!
