Vintage AR Figurine Artesania Rinconada PARROT Bird PAPAGAYO Retired Uruguay Estate sale find. Hand made in very good pre-owned condition. Signed. Rinconada, pronounced Ring-ko-nada, is a Spanish word used to describe "a small corner area". It was chosen as the name for Jesus and Javier Carbajales' hand-crafted ceramic animal designs because the identical twin brothers' studio was limited to a very small corner area of their living room for so many years. Jesus and Javier introduced the Artesania Rinconada Collection in the Fall of 1972. Pablo Picasso, Joan Miro, and Salvador Dali became the driving force of inspiration for the twins.
