I bought this dress in Kabul in 1970 - for a hippie, this was Nirvana! I loved it then and I still love it, but I can't get into it anymore! The Kuchi dress is 100% cotton, and while it is marked a Medium , I would say it is a small - See measurements below. I've had this dress stored away for many years and it is still in very good condition; bear in mind, this is made by tribal people - the dress is machine sewn and the embroidery on front and sleeves is hand done. At the time I bought it, Kabul was still very primitive, mostly dirt streets which turned into mud in winter, with street vendors selling stuff, and big Russian Samovars on coals outside boiling hot tea for sale .
Tribal men stood around fires to stay warm. I loved it!
Dress laying flat measures 16" Shoulders, Chest: 17", Sleeve: 21" long, total length: approx 58".
