disneygurl2u Solid sterling or plated? Alpaca jewelry is usually plated. Is it marked 925?

meghandillen455 @disneygurl2u no, this does not appear to be plated. It’s pretty solid and uniform. I have no real way of telling though. I don’t know where to look for that sterling mark. Any makers mark of “MEXICO” was I divisive of sterling for this time period, isn’t it? I will get the loop out and check if you like.

meghandillen455 @disneygurl2u hi! I loaded a video of the necklace and a magnet. It’s as I suspected- pure silver. It tarnishes like sterling and just has no breaks in the silver where you can see another layer of metals. I’m glad you like the deal. I suppose I should have had it appraised with the rest of my mother’s jewelry, but I just don’t have time. If I could make $49 that would be better but that’s what I have it listed for. So viola! 🎁
