Vintage Alpina M1 sunglasses

These vintage unisex Alpina M1 sunglasses — in a stunning chartreuse (yellow-green) with the original hard plastic case — were handmade in Germany in the mid 1980s. The racing-shaped glasses are unisex, and have been worn by such celebs as Victoria Beckham and Snoop Dogg. Features include: gold rivets embellishing the front of the metal frame; comfortable nose pads, and a white rubberized temple tip (stamped “handmade”). The inside top of the frame has the Alpina imprint, along with “Made in W. Germany” and the serial number. The measurements are stamped on the inside of the nose bridge (60 mm lens width, 12 mm bridge length). The case is lined with black velvet for extra cushioning. These glasses — rarely worn — are in incredible condition, given that they are nearly 40 years old!
