Amy Roberts is a mixed-media sculptor who lives and works on Bainbridge Island. She studied glass at the Cleveland Institute of Art and was an instructor at the Pilchuck Glass School. She was awarded a National Endowment for the Arts Visual Artist Fellowship Grant and received a fellowship to the Creative Glass Center of America. Her sculptures have been exhibited in museums and galleries internationally and her work is included in numerous public collections, including Microsoft Corp., American Glass Museum, City of Seattle, and Huntington Museum of Art. She currently operates a gallery and studio in Winslow.
This is a vase was created at Pilchuck Glass School is from Bonnie Miller's collection from Puyallup, WA. She wrote a book called "Out of the Fire" of glass artists working in Seattle in the 1980 - 1990's.
