Vintage Andresen & Scheinpflug round enameled gilt sterling silver earrings,

The Norwegians in the mid 20th century had the knack for producing outstanding enameled jewelry. There were several studios at the top and this is one. It was founded in 1936 and closed in 1966 so the pieces are becoming more scarce. One of their greatest designs were leaves and organic designs for earrings, brooches, necklaces and bracelets. These circular designs are beautiful and have snow flakes scattered across the white enamel. The silver has the gold wash. Lovely condition for being well over 60 years old!
