Vintage Ann Colby Women's Designer Sheath Dress with Jacket and Belt in Navy with White Polka Dots Sheath Dress with belt and bolero style jacket Darts with 10” side zip up the side for easy getting into Delicate pleats from the waist down each hip Attractive boat neckline detailed with 2 navy bows 1 concealed right hip pocket Circa 1950's, it might even be 1940's because Ann Colby designed from 1941 until 1980 in Boston. There is no tag identifying the material but the designer was known for a "linen-look" viscose. The tag reads size 16 but they sized clothing very different then. I got this dress in the early 80's when my great-aunt passed away. I wore it in the 90's when I was a size 8 by today's standards. I would wear it now if I was still a size 8! Please see measurements. 30” waist Chest armpit to armpit 35” dress Chest armpit to armpit 37” jacket 41” shoulder to hem 16.5” shoulder to waist Belt 35” x 3/4” There are some white spots on the belt. I believe they are a flaw in the fabric not a stain. They do not detract from the outfit. Otherwise this jacket and dress are in very good to excellent condition.
