Vintage Antique coil pin with "c" clasp closure

This vintage coil pin could date back to late 1800's or early 1900's (basing this on the "c" clasp and knowledge that the pin has been in storage for at least 50 years). Have also heard this type of coil pin referred to as a love knot. Very cool old piece of jewelry in any case!
