toodlede @hattie808 Thank you for the information. Yes, it was tested by a jewler, along with other silver, as I was sorting through some jewelry. I can't tell you what it is exactly. but I was told it is Silver.

hattie808 @toodlede Not a very smart jeweler,it is easy to know if it is Silver Plated,Coin Silver,800 or 900. or pure silver .999 or sterling 925 I one calls themselves a "Jeweler.When someone asks over $200 for an item,one would expect an answer other than silver.It could be silver tone,silver color.A jeweler can even have a metal diagnosis machine.Ask jeweler to be more spacific.Or invest $10 for acid and stone.or Scratch test.Food for thought.

toodlede @hattie808 Thanks for the info. 👍If I decide to get them tested again, I will ask. it is a beautiful piece, and he did suggest that it was a unique antique as it is from Jerusalem and a hand me down purchased many years ago.
