allisonsd @deevanduser it's a hard wire that the pendant slides on. It's not a choker. Probably hangs down as long as an 18" chain would but it's a different look because the wire is hard so it hangs differently. I'm not home now to measure but can try to do later on tonight to get it more accurate for you. It's a beautiful necklace and all 100% Sterling silver.
