Vintage Archimede Seguso Murano Glass Bowl

Excellent condition -- no chips, no cracks. Beautiful green and gold glass bowl and/or Ashtray with Bullicante accent. Mid 20th century Murano blown glass bowl or ashtray. This bowl most likely dates from the late 1950s or 1960s and was created by a well-known glass artist, Archimede Seguso. The emerald green colored glass was created using a technique often referred to as Bullicante or "controlled bubbles". This effect is achieved by placing a piece of molten glass inside a metallic mold with spikes. These spikes cause small holes on the surface, creating a pattern all around the glass piece. With age and use, there are some light scratches on the bottom of the bowl, which I tried to capture in the photos.
