Vintage Art Deco Gold Plated Crystal Black Pearl Slider Hinged Bangle Watch Cuff

Beautiful, gold colour watch that has a jet black face. Made in a very Art Deco style, this design features a slide-over panel which covers the main face. Hinged at the back, the panel slides back over the main face in order to allow the watch to be slipped on/off the wrist, or to keep the face hidden until you want to see the time, so that the whole thing looks more like a stunning bangle, rather than a watch! ..... The wrist strap panels are beautiful, gold plated bangle cuffs that feature a setting of shimmering mother of pearl like detail....predominantly black, with hints of dark grey and other shades of mop coming through (hence the name 'black pearl', rather like the marble).....very reminiscent of antique Edwardian/Victorian jewellery....words are just not enough to describe it! The watch has genuine quartz movement. (comes with new battery, which should last over a year). (the photo proved extremely difficult to take as the light bounces off the watch and so does not let the camera focus too well, but rest assured, it really is a lovely item)
