Vintage Art Deco Meito China Japan Lidded Sugar Bowl CABIN IN SNOWY WOODS

For your consideration is this beautiful lidded sugar dish produced by Meito China sometime between 1921 to 1943, the year the company was sold. This dish is breathtaking. The artist hand painted a scene with a rustic cabin in the snowy woods. The blue transitions into purple then back to blue with an ombre effect. The top rim and handles are all gold gilt. The dish with lid measures 2.9 inches in diameter (bottom) x 2.5 inches tall. The two pieces are in amazing condition with no chips or cracks, and the painted motif is still crisp and clean.
