Vintage Asian Woman in Abalone.....

This is a vintage piece, an etching in shell. The back lists this as abalone and I'm satisfied that is so, but in trying to communicate with a buyer ... I'd like to say it's pale and nearly white shell. Giving it the impression of mother of pearl. Delicate and unassuming, it brings a touch of the East to any home. And if I might be forward here, not being an expert! The listed company in the back is "Woo"....which has me questioning the study of the woman. I am believing her to be wearing a hanbok gown, typically worn by Korean women....not Japanese. The name Woo also suggests a Chinese or Korean origin. There are a few minor signs of wear in the frame....but the picture itself, is still vibrant
