Vintage Astrifa Black Embroidered Wool Sweater/Jacket /Trachten Style - Sz L

ASTRIFA is a well regarded high end German knitwear brand & this is a fine example of their traditional Alpine Region Gestrickte Tracht Sweater. This vintage solid black cardigan jacket is knitted of 100% Wool. It is exquisitely detailed, featuring a knit scalloped trim around the neck, down the front, hem and cuffs, edged with green yarn embroidery to match the piped tailored seams running laterally down the front & back and across the elbow of the sleeves. The upper sleeves are puffed with a tight fitting lower cuff section which features an embroidered floral design of rich red flowers growing upon scrolling vines with leaves embroidered with two tones of green yarn. There are (6) horn buttons used for front closure. This vintage piece is in Excellent Pre-Owned Condition. No signs of wear or damage Care: 100% Wool - Dry Clean Measurements: Labeled a German 44 which translates to a L in letter sizes. Shoulders: 14” across to point of puff sleeve inset Pit to Pit: 19” across bust laid flat. ( stretchable on the body - wool densely knit) 38" bust circumference.
