Very special gracefully shaped creamer by NBO. C 1950's.
Holds 12oz safely.
This is a very rare US made pattern that goes well in a salmon pink, maroon, grey and black atomic 40's kitchen.
National Brotherhood of Operative Potters, an American company that produced many dinnerware patterns with this brushstroke background. Generally called 'Prim Rose' for several other designs.
I'm lucky enough to own this entire dining set, came with 2 creamers and giving up one.
This pattern is the most desirable IMO as it's not florally and can work in a bachelor's pad as well as a modern household.
Basically it's unisex. Anyone can fall in love with it.
I've seen some pieces while thrifting that have yellowed significantly in smoking households.
This pitcher is like new and isn't yellowed.
Base color is more antique white, with uneven brushstrokes of warm grey black and maroon,.
Any yellowing you see in my photos are from natural lighting and shadows.
In excellent condition with stretch mark crazing inside that become darker when wet.
Outside is beautiful, no crazing visible.
I tap everyone of my ceramic pieces to make sure it's got a nice ring.
It's my way of telling there aren't any invisible cracks.
Note that this piece doesn't have the company's stamp underneath.
They didn't stamp every piece. My bowls/dessert dishes don't have their name, neither do the accessories.
Soup bowl for example only.
