Vintage “Austin cowboy” piece

Can’t find anything else remotely like this piece. Design seems to be branded onto the suede. Shoulders are padded for a cool boxy vintage silhouette. Vintage piece—I’m thinking from the 70s? 80s? Austin. Some wear but still in really good condition: fringe strand is broken off in one place on shoulder. Like maybe 2 other strands broken mid-vest but cannot tell when wearing. Safety pin at closure.
