Vintage B Altman & Co. 5th Avenue NY 100% New Mohair Scarf Wrap, Made in England Features: Royal Blue New Mohair delicately hand crochet/knit Measures aprox 24” x 48” First 12” on either side has a lacy pattern, the middle portion is a simple stitch. In fabulous vintage condition. Light as air and very soft. Absolutely gorgeous in person- a very special piece. There are some minor pulls which are consistent with its age and the delicate Mohair knit. B Altman’s closed it’s doors in 1989 and it was one of NY’s Fifth Avenue treasures. Not likely to find another one out there- making it rare treasure 😃💕
