Vintage BMP Fur Coat

I do not know the age of this coat nor do I know what type of fur. It belonged to my ex's grandmother who passed on almost 15yrs ago. I have never personally worn it except to check sizing (about a 16-18) and it has been tucked away in plastic in the back of a closet since I have owned it. Unfortunately upon further inspection it is not in perfect condition. There are 2 spots where the lining has pulled away from the fur. There are also 2 spots where there is damage to the fur itself.
