This extremely rare shirt is a time-capsule find from the days when Banana Republic had only one store in Mill Valley, Calif., and its colorful little catalogs were written & illustrated by their founders Mel & Pat Ziegler to sell stylish British-inspired adventure clothing to journalists, adventurers & other world travelers. This classic shirt is in amazing condition. It has two pockets, metal-snap buttons along the front as well as on both pockets and sleeves, and is made of 100% washable cotton "in the British Crown Colony of Hong Kong", as their early garment labels used to say.
