Vintage Barbour Original Beaufort - Thornproof waxed cotton

Vintage Barbour Original Beaufort Jacket with Thornproof waxed cotton Production year - 2000 Tartan lining (likely Dress Gordon) Made in England Color - Sage (A150) 3 Royal Warrants on label - very fascinating detail (google this) Brass zipper Barbour-labeled zipper and buttons Inner button snaps for liner add-ons Fabric (outer) - 100% waxed coated cotton (Thornproof) Fabric (inner lining) - 75% cotton/25% nylon Corduroy collar Tag size - C38/97cm Fit (IMO) - regular fit as the Beaufort is meant to be looser to allow for layering (sweaters, liners, etc) in colder seasons. For reference, I am 5'9", 160 pounds and it fits me comfortably (not oversized, not tight). I typically wear a thick sweater with it and there is plenty of room for a liner or even a thin puffer if you want. This finish is also often called "thornproof", and it's applied differently than the sylkoil finishes used for their Beaufort Classic outerwear.
