Vintage Beaded Purse with Unique Metal Closure

Vintage beaded purse with expanding metal top. There is some sort of brown residue in the bottom of the purse on the inner lining, I tried to take pictures of it but it pretty far down inside the purse. Part of the metal closure has come loose from the purse material. Approximate measurements: 8.5" long, 4.5" wide, 1.75" deep. The metal top opens as wide as the purse
