Vintage Beckwith China Porcelain Hand Painted Table Lamps 1930-50's Orig. Shades

This pair of stunning antique porcelain lamps looks hand painted and gilded with gold. No chips or cracks. The design on each hand painted lamp is different. I assume no two were ever alike. They have minimal wear but are in excellent shape after almost 100 years.  These lamps work fine but you you may want to replace the old cord just to be safe. One of these lamps leans a bit to one side and it looks like it was made like that to me, though I'm not sure. It's rare to find such stunning lamps with their original drum shades. The shades do have the original brass and ivory or bakelite finials that go on the top. The Ivory-like finials by themselves would cost about $65.00 each ($130/pr.) at a specialty lamp shop. One shade has a couple of small dents on one side but the shades have no other rips, tears or damage. The dimensions on both lamps are a bit different but very  close. The bases are 4- 5" wide. They're both about 28" tall with the shades. The shades are 13 & 14" wide and about that in height. Overall they make a beautiful addition to any mid-century livingroom or bedroom. Very good to excellent pre-owned condition overall.
