Vintage Beige Sweater Floral Embroidery Crochet Borders Cardigan Womens Size S

This is a vintage doubleknit sweater by Classics by Berkertex. Made of 100% Acrylic. I bought this OOAK sweater at a vintage shop in the UK. It looks seldom worn. The spare button is still attached to the tag. The size tag says 10/12 BUT it translates from a vintage size to our modern size of SMALL womens. According to the website Bellatory: A basic rule of thumb to follow is that vintage sizes are at least four sizes smaller than modern sizes. The further back in time you go, the smaller the clothes get, and you may have to adjust up another size or two. MEASUREMENTS: Chest - Across the back from pit to pit 19" Waist - 18" Across the back Length in the back from shoulder to hem - about 24" Sleeve length - 23" There is a climbing carnation embroidered up and down both sides of the buttons. There is a crocheted border on all the edges: neckline, hem, cuffs, and both sides of the front. The front - between the buttons has a tendency to pull out between the buttons. I think this might not be a problem if you are a size 4 or a little less of a breast size than I am. So you can compare your size to mine since the photo is of me wearing the sweater for the photos: I am 34/25/35 and usually wear a size Small. Good quality in good vintage condition.
