Vintage Bienen-Davis bag in black. The company was founded in 1931. Expert craftsmanship and design have given these bags a permanent home in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. Very stylish handbag is secured with a snap closure. Four metal feet protect the bottom The interior has 3 open slots for organization. This may be leather but without a tag I can't state for sure. Just feels like it. It measures approx. 8 1/2" w x 6 1/2" h under handle /11" to top of handle x 4 3/4" d. There are no structural defects to this bag. There are scuffs here and there. In some photos I've shown the bag in direct sunlight in order to see the scuffs which are hard to see straight on. This has been lovingly pre-used and still looks beautiful.
