American Base thick soft slightly distressed and faded black leather along edges and seams. Undeniably the warmest leather jacket you’ll ever own. This one’s the bomb. I collected and wore this brand. Almost 1/4” thick and entirely insulated. The chest pocket, the armpit construction, the side slit lined pockets. Not a seam left undone. Reinforced edges and bound tailored button holes. The reinforced buttons made to tug and maneuver into those button hole slits without wavering. I wear mine in all inclement weather conditions, Mr. Northwiind can get winded and not a chance in hell his breath's getting through this jacket. Sleeves are long, were turned inside by previous owner. You can see the fade line where it was turned. Some very small random spots of paint. Lots of color fade in the right places. No damage, no stains, no funky smells, no tears, no repairs. Quilted thick lining is excellent and beautiful. Like a celadon pale faded oregano color. More like a Medium by today’s standards. NOT XXL as labeled. Vintage always run smaller. Measure your own jacket that's kinda similar, compare your numbers to mine for fit. Approximate measurements taken flat w tape measure. Slightly fitted silhouette. Flat measurements are approximate. Length from shoulder to hem 26 3/4" Sleeve length from shoulder seam to cuff 26 1/4" Underarm seam to sleeve cuff 18" Armpit to armpit (chest) 19". Shoulder to shoulder seam 19 1/4" Waist 18 1/2". Hips 21".

eyewearwhore @lizardf66 70’s-80’s at the latest. Just to reiterate, no way is it an XXL and last time an XXL was this small was in the 70’s…. Size proportions have changed to the point where an XXL today is like a size 20…. This jacket is like an 8? Just a guess.
