Vintage Black Lacquer Japanese Music Jewelry Box Geisha Ballerina Abalone Works!

This vintage Japanese music jewelry box features black and gold lacquer with intricate abalone accents, and a geisha who twirls like a ballerina. Handmade in Japan, the box showcases traditional Japanese culture. The music box plays a charming tune, making it a unique and decorative collectible piece. Original, 60's to 70's hand painted Jewelry box. Music and twirling Geisha work! A few nicks in the paint, but very good shape for its age. Orange tassel is frayed and glass door doesn't want to stay completely closed, it sits at 1/4" open. Please see all photos for measurements and description.
