Vintage Black‎ Straw Boater Style Hat Union Made in USA 1940’s

This vintage black woven straw hat from possibly the 1940’s features a boater design: flat crown and a slightly downturned wide brim. There is a black grosgrain ribbon encircling the bell of the hat. The ends of the ribbon are hardened (possibly starched) and curled at the ends.
