Wool Navy Trenchcoat / Bridge Coat / Overcoat
Used condition, see below.
Presumed from 1940s-1950s based on the service dates of the owner.
The material is not labeled, however the coat is heavy, tightly woven and is likely either 100% wool gaberdine or 100% melton wool.
Coat weighs about eight pounds.
17" across shoulders, measured flat
27" sleeve
49" length back of collar to hem
(Model in picture is 6'0" ~ 125lbs)
Missing one button on front.
Chain hang for hooking on coat rack has come off on one side.
Tail stitching has one inch undone at the top of the flap and the seam is partly undone where left sleeve is sewn to the torso, however is not ripped.
Buttons at collar have an eagle with anchor, Navy symbol made by Jacob Reed & Sons (printed on the button's reverse)

@lifeimitatesart Thank you for the inquiry! I'm full on photos for this listing, but I just removed two and replaced them with closeups of the interior sleeve lining and interior tail stitching for the moment. The chain and button should be visible in existing photos, and the sleeve/tail undoing are not visible from the exterior. Let me know if you need anything else!
