Vintage Black lace top

This is a vintage piece I bought some years ago with the intention of repurposing it somehow. Now too small for me but maybe someone else out there sees the beauty in it? It appears to me that it was once a dress perhaps since the bottom edge is not straight. It opens on the side and has snaps and a hook and eye to close it. One snap has to be resewn. The lace next to one snap has to be resewn as well. See photos.
