Vintage Black velvet evening bag with Bakelite handles

Vintage purse of Black Velvet exterior over cardboard with Bakelite (or Plastic resin) oval handles ; Marigold taffeta lining - Condition of purse is Poor - handles have pulled away from fabric so not sure what it would take to repair that, OR more for educational use/reuse of the handles which are great! Measurements: Handles: 4 1/4" High x 5 1/2" Wide; curved handles are approximately 3/16" thick & comfortable to hold, they are 11/16" wide Bag: 4 1/2" High at center, 6 3/4" High at handle / 10 1/2" Wide at widest point, Depth is 2 1/4"
